Welcome to the World, Max!


Our friends Scott and Shana's baby was born on November 29 at 11:11 am and weighed 9 lbs 6 oz. He's just adorable, isn't he? I think Donavyn has a little boyfriend. I can't wait to see him. Hopefully we'll be able to see one another soon with three added kids to the mix.

We got word that the 2nd DNA test results are back. He's the same baby that took the first DNA test...shocker. But Sonya told me that PINK usually comes 2 - 2 1/2 weeks after those results come back. So I've been searching for flights that leave Christmas day just in case. Luckily I realized that Continental flies from Anchorage to Guatemala with just one layover in Houston. I hope that we can get tickets on that flight. I think there is only one per day.

I'll have to upload pics to the laptop (I'm on the desktop right now and it's driving me crazy not allowing me to upload right now. For some reason it isn't recognizing the camera. Ugh.)


Ok, anyway....hopefully I'll get those up today or tomorrow. More likely tomorrow since Zach goes to work in a bit and he takes the laptop with him.

Oh, and just to give everyone a laugh. You've got to see this video. This is the BEST first wedding dance I've ever seen!

Sorry I've been so bad about updating. Almost everyone is on Facebook , so I just usually do updates there, but I've been meaning to do this. Hopefully I'll be better. This will just be a quick recap of our summer and early fall.Back in June, we all went to San Diego for a few days. Zach was invited by the Discovery Channel to be interviewed for "After the Catch" - the post season recap with the captains of the "Deadliest Catch" vessels. We decided that the kids and I would go to, since we had the miles and the hotel would be paid for. We had a blast. If you want to see pics from our trip, HERE is a link to the ones on my FB. Potty Trained!

Miss Donavyn is officially potty trained! She's even waking up in the middle of the night to sit on the potty or upset b/c she's pee peed in her pull up. She's doing great. Anyway...we're SO proud of her and she loves hearing that too. I believe we have figured out her love language - words of affirmation with a close second of physical touch. We tried doing the M&M's and stickers, but she didn't really care, just wanted us to give her a big hug and tell her how proud we are of her. Gabriel likes to help her celebrate too. She is so skinny though that panties are just saggy on her. I guess I'll be putting the underwear pattern I bought to good use. Just have to order fabric now. Oh, and she just HAS to read her books while on the potty. She can stay in there forever just sitting on her potty and reading. She gets that from her daddy. *snort* Here are some extra videos. Donavyn Faith Koehler!!! Born Sept 25th 2007 at 6:33 pm. She weighed in at 5 lbs 14 oz and 19 3/4 inches long. It's been an exhausting couple of days but we are finally home and couldn't be happier!! We really appreciate all of your thoughts and prayers. We couldn't have done this without the support of everybody out there!! I hate to lump you all together like this but if I were to list everyone of you I think I would break the internet. You are all so special to us and we are truly blessed to have you as friends and family. Mother and Daughter are doing just fine and hopefully 0nce we get settled in a little bit more we'll be able to share our story with you. We have most of it already written but every time we would try to finish it and get it posted we would be interrupted by a doctor or nurse. But no more interruptions now!!
