Our girl is ONE MONTH OLD!!!

I can't believe Donavyn is a month old already! On one hand it seems like she was just born yesterday and on the other it's like she has always been here. Please, someone, anyone tell me she'll stop growing. That she will always stay tiny. I love to just cuddle with her. It's so amazing to see the changes she is going through every day. She is really starting to respond to loud noises (read: when the dogs bark after being quiet for a long time) and she is following me with her eyes more too. She can hold her head up and is such a strong little girl.

Here she is with her daddy on the 19th...the day she was supposed to be born.

This was tonight. Zach had to give his princess a one month birthday kiss. Doesn't it look like she's saying, "Dad, please! Ugh..." Nah, just kidding, honey. She loves her daddy.

Here are two of our girls. They were napping with Zach on the couch. Aren't they cute?

Aww...sleepy baby. Thank you Grandma and Pawpaw Aunt Dee (oops...sorry about that!) for this outfit! It's so comfy!

We had the annual OSA auction on Saturday night. I donated this cake stand with some homemade caramel apples. The sticks were picked up that morning at Fort Abercrombie. I was so excited, it went for $85. The money raised goes to SO many great causes including Santa to the Villages (see pictures from mid-December of last year) and many other local charities. I had to take a picture and thought it was pretty enough to share.

Those pictures are outstanding... so cute! And I would love to tell you that your little cutie will stop growing, but right now our little girl is trying to do flips off the couch. ...so... i gotta go.

I love that her cheeks are getting chubby!!! I can't believe she's already a month old.... seems like yesterday you guys were coming back from Anchorage!

awwwwwwww....Miss Donavyn is just beautiful. Isn't it amazing how much babies can change and grow in just weeks?!?

Sorry I've been so bad about updating. Almost everyone is on Facebook , so I just usually do updates there, but I've been meaning to do this. Hopefully I'll be better. This will just be a quick recap of our summer and early fall.Back in June, we all went to San Diego for a few days. Zach was invited by the Discovery Channel to be interviewed for "After the Catch" - the post season recap with the captains of the "Deadliest Catch" vessels. Potty Trained!

Miss Donavyn is officially potty trained! She's even waking up in the middle of the night to sit on the potty or upset b/c she's pee peed in her pull up. She's doing great. Anyway...we're SO proud of her and she loves hearing that too. I believe we have figured out her love language - words of affirmation with a close second of physical touch. We tried doing the M&M's and stickers, but she didn't really care, just wanted us to give her a big hug and tell her how proud we are of her. Gabriel likes to help her celebrate too. She is so skinny though that panties are just saggy on her. I guess I'll be putting the underwear pattern I bought to good use. Just have to order fabric now. Oh, and she just HAS to read her books while on the potty. She can stay in there forever just sitting on her potty and reading. She gets that from her daddy. *snort* Here are some extra videos. Donavyn Faith Koehler!!! Born Sept 25th 2007 at 6:33 pm. She weighed in at 5 lbs 14 oz and 19 3/4 inches long. It's been an exhausting couple of days but we are finally home and couldn't be happier!! We really appreciate all of your thoughts and prayers. We couldn't have done this without the support of everybody out there!! I hate to lump you all together like this but if I were to list everyone of you I think I would break the internet. You are all so special to us and we are truly blessed to have you as friends and family. Mother and Daughter are doing just fine and hopefully 0nce we get settled in a little bit more we'll be able to share our story with you. We have most of it already written but every time we would try to finish it and get it posted we would be interrupted by a doctor or nurse. But no more interruptions now!!
