Well the results are in!!

After lots of prayers and waiting we have finally found out if Gabriel will have a little brother or sister...Our appointment wasn't until 1 p.m. so to keep Beth's mind occupied she went to her Yoga class and then had coffee with the girls. To make sure bellybaby was up and active she had an extra large triple espresso coffee and then came home and ate an entire bar of chocolate!! (These were doctor's orders by the way so stop having heart-attacks) Needless to say bellybaby was a squirmy worm for the ultrasound. So the time for the appointment finally arrived and we headed to the hospital. Beth called at least every week leading up to the appointment to make sure her favorite tech was going to be the one performing the ultrasound and it turned out that we were her last appointment before she left for 5 weeks. She asked us some questions and Beth told her that she was still not 100% positive that we weren't having twin bellybabies...we're not!! That was the first thing that the tech told us. Then she started looking at our baby...checking their brain, spine, fingers and toes...all perfect!! The tech had quite a handful trying to get all the right measurements because bellybaby was all hopped up on caffine and wouldn't stay still. She had to keep switching what she was measuring because our little worm was all over the place!! Then the time came when we found out if we were having another son or if I was still gonna be outnumbered by girls...dying to find out yet??

Then scroll down already and find out!!!

IT'S A GIRL!!!!

Gabriel will have a sister to watch over and I guess I need to start getting all my shotgun cleaning tools in order for whenever her dates come to pick her up. Thankfully that won't be for another 20 years or so. Thank you all for your prayers and support. We couldn't be happier!!

It was really amazing when we got back in the car after the ultrasound. We had on K-LOVE - a Christian music station that is syndicated here on the island. As soon as we turned the car on "You are Amazing God" by Chris Tomlin was on the radio. Here are some of the lyrics:

Indescribable, uncontainable,
You placed the stars in the sky and
You
know them by name.
You are amazing God
All powerful, untameable,
Awestruck we fall to our knees as we humbly proclaim
You are amazing God
And here's a video someone made. I tried to find a way to embed the song, but I can't figure that out. Maybe we should get Scott to give us a lesson in that.

I used my digital and took pics of the ultrasound pics and then loaded them. I am so happy for you both. Baby girl is going to have a big brother to look out for her! I can't wait to meet them both. Congratualtions!
