Made it...


...well as far as Pensacola at least. Took us a little longer than we thought since we had to drop off Zach's Chevelle in Orlando to get shipped first. Zach's dad and uncles came down to get it started. Uncle Justin (L), Uncle Dennis (R), and Uncle Glenn (BL) live up in Bell, FL. [Pops at BR]
Then afterwards the guys stood around the truck telling lies. It was nice seeing Dad and his brothers together. Anyway back to the story...I drove the Chevelle and Beth drove the Magnum over to Orlando to the shipping place and then we headed North-West to Pensacola. Not much exciting happened on the drive. The girls slept most of the way. Its been pretty relaxing after the couple weeks of chaos we've had. Havn't had much to do. We got a PSP (Playstation Portable) and it is worth its weight in gold!! We can play games, listen to music, watch movies...anybody who is thinking about taking a long trip should invest in one. Of course Beth usually gets her hands on it before I do so I'm gonna have to start hiding it from her. Last night was pretty fun. Beth's parents (Hoyt and Judy) took us out to eat at Flounders on Pensacola beach. The same place where I took Beth after we had dinner at The Melting Pot on our first date. We'll be going there tonight. Unfortunately its not in the original location. We'll keep you posted on how the rest of the trip is going but right now we're just adjusting to our new way of life.

Sorry I've been so bad about updating. Almost everyone is on Facebook , so I just usually do updates there, but I've been meaning to do this. Hopefully I'll be better. This will just be a quick recap of our summer and early fall.Back in June, we all went to San Diego for a few days. Zach was invited by the Discovery Channel to be interviewed for "After the Catch" - the post season recap with the captains of the "Deadliest Catch" vessels. We decided that the kids and I would go to, since we had the miles and the hotel would be paid for. We had a blast. If you want to see pics from our trip, HERE is a link to the ones on my FB. Potty Trained!

Miss Donavyn is officially potty trained! She's even waking up in the middle of the night to sit on the potty or upset b/c she's pee peed in her pull up. She's doing great. Anyway...we're SO proud of her and she loves hearing that too. I believe we have figured out her love language - words of affirmation with a close second of physical touch. We tried doing the M&M's and stickers, but she didn't really care, just wanted us to give her a big hug and tell her how proud we are of her. Gabriel likes to help her celebrate too. She is so skinny though that panties are just saggy on her. I guess I'll be putting the underwear pattern I bought to good use. Just have to order fabric now. Oh, and she just HAS to read her books while on the potty. She can stay in there forever just sitting on her potty and reading. She gets that from her daddy. *snort* Here are some extra videos. Gabriel's big boy haircut and more

Shocker, I know. It's only been 10 days since my last post! Whatever are we going to do? I know....enjoy pictures! I'm pretty sure Gabriel was long overdue for a haircut. He was looking a little wild. I think it was driving him crazy too; he would pull at his hair a lot. He doesn't any more. I took him to my hairdresser, Alex. She is the only one I will trust with my hair. Her partner, Dana, is also very good to my friends, but Alex is my girl. Her son is a few months older than Gabriel, so she had some of his toys in her salon. Gabriel saw the car and was done for. He was SUCH a good boy. He just sat there and let her go at it. He wiggled a little, but not much. I was so proud of him. Donavyn just sat and played on the floor like a good girl so I could take pictures since Zach couldn't be there.
